The Tolbooth Museum | Aberdeen, Scotland

The Tolbooth Museum in Aberdeen is one of the city's oldest buildings, and it was a 17th century jail.

Now, you can visit the building to learn about crime and punishment in 17th and 18th century Scotland!

You'll get to take a look at the Maiden and the blade of a 17th century guillotine - gruesome! This would make a really fun and interesting free day out for all the family.

The museum is open from 10am-5pm on Monday-Saturday and 12pm-3pm on Sundays.
