Step back into the history of Watchet, an ancient sea port in Somerset, inside this small but substantial museum. The house itself is extremely charming, and boasts open arches and an open staircase as part of its architecture.
Inside, visitors can discover a wide range of artefacts come rain of shine. Watchet Market House exhibits local fossils, Stone Age implements, the Saxon mint and much more. There are also photographs and maritime paintings to behold.
