The Fine Foundation Heritage Centre | Beer, Devon

Beer is a little village in East Devon, and it makes the perfect place to stop off and do some fossil hunting! Make sure you stop off at the Fine Foundation Heritage Centre to learn about the local area and sealife.

This place is run by volunteers, and there are even tanks with marine life to make learning fun for all the family. You'll also get to learn about the famous Beer Stone, which is used in buildings all over the country.

The Jurassic Coast stretches on for miles, but it's worth selecting Beer as your location to go fossil hunting, because then you can learn from the wonderful volunteers at the Fine Foundation Heritage Centre!
