Salts Mill in Shipley has become a place for art, culture and history to converge - making it into a wonderful place for a free day out!

One of the most exciting features of this free to enter mill, is the huge David Hockney exhibit. Peruse Hockney's work, followed by a trip to one of their fab restaurants or cafes. They even have little shops with independent brands!

Head to the People and Process exhibit as well as the Saltaire History exhibit to find out about the history of the mill itself.

The mill was built by Sir Titus Salt in 1853, and it's where cloth was made right up until 1986 when the mill was bought by Jonathan Silver; a man with a vision that made the mill what it is today.
