New Forest Reptile Centre | New Forest, Hampshire

Here's one for those of you with small kids - stop by the Reptile Centre to spend a few hours learning about a variety of species.

This fascinating place is run by volunteers, and so whilst it is free entry a small donation wouldn't go amiss! The volunteers are incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all their reptilian residents.

It's the only place you're guaranteed to see the New Forest's native reptiles - there are snakes, frogs, toads and lizards! These can be tricky to spot in the wild as they're quite shy so this is a great opportunity to see them all up close.

Please note that the Reptile Centre isn't open all year round, as it is volunteer-run. Be sure to check they're open before hopping in the car!
