Pitt Rivers Museum | Oxford

Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford is a must for history and culture buffs all across the world. Founded in 1884, Pitt Rivers Museum has established itself as one of the world's leading archaeology museums with nearly half a million fascinating artefacts (including the world-famous Amazonian shrunken heads).

Home to objects from all across the world, past and present, Pitt Rivers is one of Oxford's top attractions. As well as the permanent collection of artefacts, there are also normally several temporary exhibitions happening as well. Check out what's on during your visit by following the link below.

Admission to the Pitts Rivers Museum is free, but as always, donations are warmly welcome. The Museum is open from 10.00 - 16.30 Tuesday to Sunday, and 12.00 - 16.00 on Mondays.
