St Conan's Kirk | Argyll & Bute, Scotland
Nestled amongst the trees in Lochawe Village, you'll find St Conan's Kirk. This is a stunning church with a great story. The church was built by a man called Walter Campbell, who decided to build it to save his mother the trouble of having to travel too far to church - yes really!
Campbell taught himself how to build, and so the Kirk has some really interesting and unique architecture - making it a wonderful place to visit.
Entrance is by suggested donation, so although this attraction is not 100% free, depending on how much you donate it's an extremely cheap day out and it's a great way to learn about the local area with all the family.
Concessions: Free entry
