This castle ruin was once part of a much bigger Norman castle that would have once dominated the town of Christchurch. Plus, it's not far from the Norman House, which is a riverside chamber block - go and see it for its amazing chimney which is still standing!
Entry is completely free. It's worth noting that it's quite a steep climb up the hill if you want to explore the castle close-up.
