Make sure you add The Fry Art Gallery to your 'to see' list on your next visit to Saffron Walden.
Situated in this lovely market town, This Public Art Gallery houses an impressive number of prints, paintings, illustrations, wallpapers and decorative designs by artists of the 20th century and present day.
It was originally built in 1856 to house the collection of Francis Gibson, a local Quaker businessman, and the building passed by descent to the Fry family, from whom the Fry Art Gallery Society purchased it in 2015.
It's open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2pm to 5pm, and then Saturday 11am to 5pm and Sunday 2.15pm to 5pm. Make sure you double check times on the website before you visit. Have fun looking around!
