Glasgow Botanical Gardens, located in the West End of the city, should be top of the to-do list for any nature lovers visiting Glasgow. Explore the beautiful gardens, observe the varying wildlife and wander through the recently restored Kibble Palace Greenhouse.

Featuring several glasshouses, Glasgow Botanical Gardens is home to many unusual types of wildlife, including the national collection of tree ferns and a collection of tropical rainforest plants.

The Gardens are open all year round and are the perfect place to spend an afternoon with your family, friends or just by yourself.

Entrance to all areas of the Gardens and Greenhouses is free, making this a great free day out in Glasgow. The Gardens are open from 7 am to dusk all year round, and the Greenhouses open at 10 am each day closing at 6 pm (4.15 pm in the winter).
