Grosvenor Museum | Chester, Cheshire

This fabulous museum was built way back in 1885, to originally house the collections of the Chester Archaeological Society and the Chester Society of Natural Science, Literature and Art.

As well as show-casing a number of interesting exhibits on a variety of topics, the Grosvenor Museum also offers an inspiring service to schools - so there's bound to be plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained.

You can also pay a visit to the period house at the back of the museum, to learn about daily life from the 17th century, all the way through to the 1920s.
