Free Entry to The Terrace at One Leadenhall
If you're heading into the City of London, this one's well worth adding to your itinerary. The Terrace at One Leadenhall is a free public outdoor space on Level 4 of the gleaming new One Leadenhall skyscraper, offering landscaped seating areas and panoramic views right over the iconic Leadenhall Market — and it costs absolutely nothing to visit.
To get there, head to the viewing terrace lobby on Whittington Avenue, EC3V 1LE, where lifts take you straight up to Level 4. It's a short walk from Bank, Monument, or Liverpool Street stations. The Terrace is open Monday to Friday 9:30am–10:30pm, and 10:00am–10:30pm at weekends and bank holidays (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day). Maximum capacity is 250, so there may be a short wait at busy times. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and security screening is in place on entry.
