Free Entry to St Paul's Cathedral at Night

Fancy exploring one of London's most iconic buildings after dark — for free? St Paul's Cathedral are opening their doors on the evening of Tuesday 15th September 2026 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, and admission (including the Crypt) is completely free with a registered ticket.

The evening is packed with things to do: Spotlight Talks from expert guides on the Cathedral's lesser-known history, self-guided trails, live demonstrations from skilled craftspeople including stone masons and embroiderers, handling sessions with the Collections team, and artwork by Henry Moore and Bill Viola. There's also an introduction to Christian mindfulness, live music from the Cathedral Consort, and the evening closes with a beautiful sung service of Compline under the Dome. The shop and café will be open too. Note that the Dome Galleries won't be accessible on the night.
