Nestled in the village of Wroxall on the Isle of Wight, you'll find Appuldurcombe House. This stunning house was built in the 18th century and it's surrounded by sweeping gardens - it was once considered the grandest house in the Isle of Wight.
In its heyday, the house had stunning Baroque archiceture. The previous grandeur has faded, but you can still visit the inside and the gardens for free to see what's left of this stunning house.
Please be aware that there are no facilities at the house and the nearest public toilets are located in Godshill, a village next to Wroxall. Be sure to plan your visit before you travel for a smooth free day out!
