If you love learning about local history, then you're sure to enjoy visiting Green's Windmill and the Science Centre next door! These fun free-to-enter places can be found just 1 1/4 miles from Nottingham town centre.
The windmill is named after George Green's father, who built the mill in 1807. George went on to be a wonderful mathematician and physicist, and Green’s Theorem and Green’s function are still used by scientists and engineers today. Visit the Science Centre to learn more about his life's work.
Entry to both the windmill and the centre are free! Click through to find out opening times & plan your free day out now.
