Wren Library, Trinity College | Cambridge

If you love literature then this place is a must-see! The Wren Library at Trinity College was designed by and named after Christopher Wren.

Included in this College's alumni is Christopher Robin, son of the famous A.A. Milne. Not only did Milne's real son attend this college, but the library also holds a Winnie the Pooh manuscript.

Plus, you can even see a lock of Sir Isaac Newton's hair, as well as his Principia Mathematica.

Only 15 people can be in the library at a given time, so make sure you leave enough time to queue.

Opening times are:

  • Monday to Friday between 12-2pm (last admission 1.50pm)
  • During full term, the library is also open on Saturdays between 10.30am and 12.30pm (last admission 12.20pm)
