Free Chester Zoo Nature Fest
Wildlife fans, Chester Zoo are throwing open the gates to their Nature Reserve this weekend for Nature Fest — and admission is completely FREE for everyone. Now in its tenth year, the two-day festival celebrates UK wildlife and plant life conservation, and there's a packed programme of activities for all ages.
Expect hands-on sessions including habitat making, nature adventure trails, animal yoga and a zen den, plus face painting, butterfly wings and live community stage acts for the little ones. Conservation talks run throughout both days covering topics like bat behaviour, wildflower meadows, peatlands and the power of nature for wellbeing. Nature Fest takes place at the Chester Zoo Nature Reserve on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September, 11:30am–4:30pm each day. Just follow the signage from the main zoo car park to the festival site — no booking needed.
