The Hepworth Museum | Wakefield, Yorkshire

Wow, this museum & art gallery is not only full of amazing art, it's also stunning on the outside! Voted Museum of the Year in 2017 by Art Fund, The Hepworth is named for Barbara Hepworth - arguably one of the most important artists of the 20th century.

Barbara was born in Wakefield so it's extremely fitting that this wonderful museum should be based here.

The museum is open every day from 10am to 5pm and it's free entry, making it a wonderful rainy day activity for all the family to enjoy!

There are always loads of fabulous things to see and opportunities to get involved with the museum - there's everything from special exhibitions to school & college educational days and group visits.

This is a must-see if you're passing through Yorkshire!
