Imperial War Museum | London

The Imperial War Museum is one of London's top museums. It explores and encourages the study and understanding of the history of modern war and 'war-time experience'.

Suitable for all age ranges, the Imperial War Museum is not one to be missed. Located in central London near Waterloo station, admission is free to the museum and the majority of the exhibitions.

The Imperial War Museum has several permanent exhibitions, some of which may not be suitable for younger audiences and admission may not be allowed. The permanent exhibitions include the First World War Galleries, A Family in Wartime and The Holocaust Exhibition.

There are also temporary events and exhibitions hosted throughout the year so be sure to check out what's on during your visit - some of these may have a small entrance fee.

The museum is open 10 am - 6 pm every day.
