The Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture located in Gateshead, England designed by Antony Gormley. Standing at an impressive 66 feet with 178 feet wingspan, this sculpture is truly breathtaking.
Just a 20 minute drive out of central Newcastle, the Angel looks proudly out over the A1 leading into Newcastle.
Entrance is free to the landmark and there is plenty of parking available onsite. Plus regular buses run from Newcastle and Gateshead Interchange.
