Newton Textile Museum | Powys, Wales

This museum is housed in a block built back in the 1830s to be a loom weaving factory - so it seems fitting for the museum to document the building's past.

Inside you'll find exhibits on how Newtown became a centre for the textile industry - learn all about looms, spinning wheels, quilt making, weaving as well as watching expert demonstrations!

The museum isn't open all year around, so be sure to check the website before planning your visit. You can also check out the website to see if there are any special seasonal events on at the museum.
