Free Kids Workshop at Dobbies
Dobbies are running their free Little Seedlings workshop this Sunday (6th September 2026), and this month's theme is all about autumn colours. Children aged 4–10 will discover why leaves turn those brilliant shades of yellow, orange and red as the season changes, learn about evergreens, and find out what busy autumn wildlife — squirrels, hedgehogs and more — gets up to as the colder months roll in. Each child will also get to plant their own daffodil bulb to take home and watch grow through to spring.
Sessions are running at participating Dobbies stores across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland on Sunday 6th September, with times varying by store. Each workshop is around 60 minutes long and completely free to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the full session, and advance booking is required as spaces fill up fast.
