Leicester Cathedral | Leicester, Leicestershire

Did you know that Leicester Cathedral is now the final resting place for King Richard III? Why not stop by to take a look at his tomb and find out more about his story.

Anyone is welcome at Leicester Cathedral and there are often events taking place so this is such a wonderful venue for a free day out.

You don't need to be religious to appreciate the wonderful architecture and history of this beautiful building!

Religious buildings are fantastic for this reason - anyone can come in for free & simply sit and enjoy the atmosphere (especially ideal for coming in out of the cold and rain).

For a small fee of £5 each, you can even be taken on a tour of the Cathedral! If you wish to mainly learn about Richard III then it's £3 a head.
