New Forest Heritage Centre Museum | New Forest, Hampshire

The New Forest national park is famous for breathtaking landscapes and a variety of lovely wildlife, but it has plenty of history and culture too!

It's well worth stopping off at the Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst to learn all about the New Forest's flora & fauna, as well as its place during the world wars and its ties to kings, queens and the odd literary character.

General entry is free, and not only do they hold regular paid exhibitions and talks, but they also hold educational workshops for children all year round!

The Heritage Centre Museum has a wonderful gift shop too, as well as a mini art gallery.

If you ever find yourself passing through Lyndhurst, be sure to stop off to check this place out.
