Scrabo Tower is within easy access of Newtownards, Northern Island. With its beautiful countryside surroundings, however, you'd never guess it!
The Londonderry Monument sits high up on Scrabo Hill, 540 feet above sea level. It was built way back in 1857, but thanks to its strong foundation, still stands tall today.
Overlooking Strangford Lough and the whole of North Down, it's the perfect place to visit for some of the finest views in the country - no wonder it was featured in the Dracula untold film.
Inside the tower itself, there is even more to discover. An exhibition and short film give a detailed insight to Scrabo Tower's history.
Scrabo Tower is so much more than just a landmark. If you're in Newtownards, make sure it's on your must-see list!
