Poole Museum | Poole, Dorset

Poole Museum offers a wonderfully interesting, free day out for the whole family.

The architecture of the Museum is just as interesting as its contents - spread across four contrasting buildings, each housing different displays and collections.

The galleries, which are based in a Victorian quayside warehouse allow visitors to discover the history of the maritime town of Poole from prehistory to the present day. Discover a large and diverse collection built up over 134 years totalling approximately 50,000 objects.

Head to the beautiful History Centre to discover more about Poole's heritage, Scaplen's Court for hands-on learning experiences.

Poole Museum offers never-ending fun for the whole family. What's more, it's completely free for all - the perfect day out!

Be sure to take a trip if you're nearby - you won't regret it!
