Get free beauty stuff through the letterbox - too good to be true?
As an avid makeup fan, I am always looking for ways to save money on getting new beauty products. So when I heard that I could get free makeup delivered right to my door, I was intrigued to say the least!
There’s a huge range of beauty products delivered straight to homes around the UK; from free perfume samples, free cosmetics, toiletries and hair products. What a great way to try out new & existing brands without leaving the house, or spending a penny.
Here's my experience of using Magic Freebies UK to get free makeup and beauty products, and some of the free things I've received so far!
Why do beauty brands give away free stuff?
Companies want potential consumers to try their products and give feedback in return - this means they won't have to pay a middleman to do the research for them. The movement of companies to social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter means that they can speak directly to their consumers, listen to their concerns, and reach out to potential new customers at the same time.
So how do you get free beauty products?
I signed up for the Magic Freebies newsletter, which promises 8 new freebies every day: free stuff, free samples and competitions. Sure enough, the next day I received an e-mail full of giveaways, restaurant vouchers and offers.
I also signed up for the Magic Freebies WhatsApp alerts. This is where Magic Freebies send out short-term freebies that are likely to run out quickly. Since signing up for the WhatsApp alerts and applying for all the freebies I can, I've received all of this:
- Sanctuary Moisture Miracle Moisturiser
- Origins Night-A-Mins™ Resurfacing Night Cream
- Emporio Armani Perfume
- John Frieda Shampoo & Conditioner samples
- Always Dailies Pantyliners
- Estee Lauder Eye Cream
- MAC Lipstick samples
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
- L'Occitane AQUA RÉOTIER Ultra Thirst-Quenching Gel
- GLAMGLOW Moisturiser
What other free stuff can you get?
As well as free beauty products, the website has lots of other categories to explore. From Food & Drink, Kids & Baby Stuff and Free Pet Stuff, there really is a freebie for every member of the family.
It's not just about the freebies either! Magic Freebies features money-saving and money-making tips and tricks to help you be savvy with your cash. I plan to pay a visit to the Restaurant Vouchers page next time I'm heading out for dinner and I'll use the Free Days Out page to plan a fun (but free!) day out with the family.
It's a no-brainer why Magic Freebies is so popular...
Currently, the Magic Freebies Facebook page has over 380,000 likes. The page is updated every day with offers, money-saving tactics, competition, freebies and the odd light-hearted post, so you can stay in the loop even without checking the emails.
I also joined the MFUK Freebie Fans group, which is a fun and lively community where members share photos of the freebies they've received, let others know about freebies or offers they've found and help out others with applying for freebies.
