Free Detention Diaries Book
Try out Detention Diaries thanks to the brilliant folks at Come Round! Bloomsbury Children's are on the hunt for 100 kids aged 8–12 across the UK to get their hands on a free advance copy of this brand-new diary-format comedy. The story follows Arthur Guppy — wrongly suspected of kidnapping the school axolotls — as he recounts exactly how he and his classmates ended up in detention together. It's packed with black and white illustrations and promises to be an absolute classroom favourite.
If your child is selected, there are a few things you'll need to do in return: take photos of them reading the book (faces need to be visible!), post the pics on your social channels using the hashtag #DetentionDiaries and tagging @bloomsburychildrens and @samuel_copeland, leave an honest review on Waterstones and/or Amazon, and fill out a short feedback survey. You'll also need to be following @comerounduk on Instagram before applying.
