If you want to lower your calorie intake then read on...
I'm a big fan of food (which you may have noticed from my past blog posts) but recently I've been trying to watch what I eat. The main reason for this is because I plan to eat lots and lots over the Christmas period - my birthday is also in December and so I've got lots of lovely food plans in place.
With this in mind, I've started to collect some tips and I thought I'd share them with you:
Drink a glass of water before each meal
Drinking water will fill you up so you don't eat as much. Sometimes you may think you're hungry when you're thirsty too.
You may find yourself craving sweets or chocolate during the day. Try having a couple of pieces of fruit as they contain natural sugars.
Drink green tea
Researchers have found that catechins in green tea will help trigger weight loss. This is because they stimulate the body to burn calories and mildly decrease body fat.
Studies have found that when you include dairy products as part of an overall low-calorie diet you will get a weight-loss advantage. Why not try it out for yourself.
Good luck, if you've got any great tips, please share them with us!
