Free 'The Wild Ones' by Steve Cole
Book lovers with young readers at home, this one's a treat! National Book Tokens are giving away 100 advance copies of The Wild Ones by Steve Cole — a brand new children's adventure that doesn't hit bookshops until September 2026.
The book follows Scamp, a pet centre dog whose world is turned upside down one terrible night, sending him and a misfit gang of animals (a cat, a rabbit, a dachshund, a parrot and two hamsters) on an epic journey through a ruined city in search of a new home.
Eoin Colfer calls it "a master storytelling" experience, and it sounds like a proper page-turner for younger readers.
