Free Northern Railway Tickets
Got a little one starting Year 7 this September? Northern Railway are offering families a free "Settling In" ticket to help your child get comfortable with their new school journey before term properly kicks off. The complimentary ticket covers one adult and one child travelling together on the Northern network, so you can tag along and make sure they know the ropes.
It's a lovely idea — use it for settling-in days, transition visits, induction events, or just a practice run so they feel confident on day one. To claim, fill in the short form on the Northern Railway page via our pink button below and they'll be in touch with your complimentary ticket. Valid for travel on Northern services from 09:30 Monday to Friday, and at any time at weekends and Bank Holidays. The offer runs until 30th September 2026, while stocks last. One ticket per form submission. Northern network only.
