Free London Symphony Orchestra Concert

Classical music fans, here's one for you! The London Symphony Orchestra are bringing their annual BMW Classics concert back to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 13th June 2026, and it's completely FREE to attend. Sir Antonio Pappano conducts a brilliant open-air programme featuring movements from Holst's The Planets and Elgar's Enigma Variations (including the iconic Nimrod), plus a world premiere of a brand new piece by composer Louise Drewett. The concert runs from 4pm to around 5.40pm with no interval.

No ticket is needed — just turn up at Trafalgar Square from 2.45pm and grab your spot. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and no glass or furniture (including camping chairs) is allowed in the Square, though picnic rugs are welcome. Accessibility spaces can be reserved in advance from 10am on Tuesday 9th June. If you can't make it in person, the concert will also be live-streamed for free on YouTube and Facebook at 4pm BST.
