Free Kids Prescription Glasses at Asda Opticians

Parents, here's one well worth knowing about! Under the NHS, all children under 16 are entitled to a FREE eye test — and at Asda Opticians, if your child needs glasses, a range of selected frames are also completely FREE using their NHS voucher. That's the eye test and the specs sorted, at no cost to you.

The kids' frame range is genuinely great too: Barbie, Batman, Superman and Harry Potter styles are all in the mix, and every pair comes with scratch-resistant coating, anti-reflective coating and thinner lenses if the prescription needs them — all included at no extra charge. Prescription sunglasses are also available for just £17 if you'd like a second pair for sunny days.

To get started, hit our pink button below to head to the Asda Opticians children's eye health page and book an appointment at your nearest store. The NHS voucher for glasses is only issued following an eye test if a prescription is required, so pop in for the test first. Ask an Asda Opticians colleague in-store for full details on eligibility and the frames available.
