Free 24 Hour Party People Cinema Tickets
Madchester fans, this one's a treat! Michael Winterbottom's iconic 24 Hour Party People is returning to cinemas in a brand new 4K re-release to celebrate its 24th anniversary — and thanks to Escapes (supported by the BFI and National Lottery funding), you can grab a FREE ticket to see it on the big screen.
The film follows Granada TV presenter Tony Wilson as he stumbles into the Sex Pistols gig that sparks the birth of Factory Records, Joy Division, New Order, the Happy Mondays, and ultimately The Haçienda — one of the most legendary clubs in the world. It's a brilliantly chaotic, blackly comic ride through Manchester music history, starring Steve Coogan, Paddy Considine, Lennie James, Andy Serkis and more.
Screenings are taking place across independent and community cinemas throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th October 2026.
