In these terms, "the Prize", "the Number of Winners", "the Opening Date", "the Closing Date" and "the Draw Date" mean the values set out above for the current competition.

1. The Promoter

The promoter is Veneficus Ltd, trading as MagicFreebies ("the Promoter", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales under company number 07291792, registered office Units A - J Austen House, Station View, Guildford, Surrey, England, GU1 4AR. Contact: theteam@magicfreebiesuk.co.uk.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp, Meta Platforms, Google, or any prize manufacturer or retailer. By entering, you release these parties from any liability connected with the competition.

2. The competition

2.1 This is a free monthly prize draw. We run a new competition each calendar month. Each competition opens on its Opening Date and closes on its Closing Date. Entries received outside that window will not be counted in that month's draw.

2.2 The current competition's prize and key dates are set out in "The current competition" block above.

2.3 These terms apply, and have applied, to every monthly competition listed in the "Competition history" below. The numbered terms and conditions on this page are the terms that were in effect for each of those competitions; only the prize, the number of winners, the approximate value and the key dates differ between competitions, and those specifics for each competition are recorded in "The current competition" block (for the current month) and in the relevant "Competition history" row (for previous months). If we ever revise these numbered terms, the version in force at the time of each competition is the version that applies to it.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

3.2 The following may not enter: employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter and of any company in its group; their immediate families and households; and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the competition.

3.3 We may require proof of identity, age and UK residency before awarding a prize, and may disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility criteria or who we reasonably believe has breached these terms.

4. How to enter

4.1 To enter, you must, during the entry window: (a) be a member of an official MagicFreebies WhatsApp community; and (b) complete and submit the official competition entry form in full, including the required consent.

4.2 No purchase is necessary and joining the WhatsApp community is free. Entry to the competition is free of charge. You are responsible for any internet, data or message charges your network provider may apply.

4.3 Entries must be submitted by the individual entrant. Bulk, automated, third-party, agent or syndicate entries are not permitted and will be void.

4.4 One entry per person per monthly competition. Where multiple entries from the same person are identified, only the first valid entry will be counted and the others may be disqualified.

4.5 Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or that do not comply with these terms will be rejected. We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not received for any reason.

4.6 Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.

5. Winner selection

5.1 Following the Closing Date, up to the Number of Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the entry window, in a process supervised by the Promoter, on or around the Draw Date. Only selected entrants who successfully claim within the time limit in clause 6 will receive a prize (see clause 6.3).

5.2 Before a prize is confirmed, we may verify that a selected entrant met the eligibility and entry requirements (including community membership). If a selected entrant cannot be verified, does not meet the criteria, or has breached these terms, we may disqualify them; we are not obliged to select a replacement winner.

6. Notification and claiming the prize

6.1 Winners will be notified by email, using the email address provided on the entry form, on or around the Draw Date. We will not contact winners via WhatsApp.

6.2 To claim, a winner must use the claim link in our notification email and submit the requested details (including their full name and a UK delivery address) within 14 days of the date our notification email is sent, using the same email address we contacted them on.

6.3 If a winner does not claim within 14 days, cannot be contacted, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited. We do not select replacement winners for unclaimed prizes, and unclaimed prizes may go unawarded. We are not responsible for notification emails that are blocked, filtered as spam, or sent to an address entered incorrectly by the entrant.

7. The Prize

7.1 Up to the Number of Winners will be drawn, and each winner who validly claims (clause 6) receives the Prize. The prizes are as described in "The current competition" block and are subject to availability. Because prizes are forfeited if not claimed in time (clause 6.3), the number of prizes actually awarded may be fewer than the Number of Winners.

7.2 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. There is no cash alternative.

7.3 If the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7.4 Prizes are delivered to UK addresses only. We aim to dispatch prizes within a reasonable period after a winner submits their details; delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the Prize passes to the winner on delivery.

7.5 Any tax or other liability arising from acceptance of a prize is the responsibility of the winner.

8. Data protection and privacy

8.1 The personal data you provide (name, email address and, for winners, delivery details) is collected and used by the Promoter solely to administer this competition — to verify eligibility, select and contact winners, and fulfil prizes.

8.2 We will not add entrants to any marketing or mailing list as a result of entering this competition, and we will not use entry data for marketing, unless you have given separate, explicit consent.

8.3 We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy: https://www.magicfreebiesuk.co.uk/p/privacy-policy. We keep entry data only as long as necessary to run the competition and the following month's draw, and in any event delete it within 40 days of the competition closing. Winners' delivery details are shared with our fulfilment provider/courier only as needed to deliver the Prize, and are kept only until the prize has been delivered and any delivery issues resolved, then deleted. We retain only a minimal winners record (winner's first name, the prize and the competition month — no contact details) for results and audit purposes.

8.4 You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by emailing theteam@magicfreebiesuk.co.uk.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, a winner agrees that we may publish their first name, alongside the prize and the competition month (e.g. "Sarah — June competition"), for the purpose of announcing results and complying with our regulatory obligations. We will not publish a winner's surname, full address, email or other contact details. A winner may request that their information be kept to the minimum required by the CAP Code by contacting us.

10. Liability

10.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the competition or your acceptance, use or inability to use a prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. General

11.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to suspend, cancel or withdraw the competition, at any time where reasonably necessary (for example due to circumstances beyond our control or to prevent abuse). Any changes will be posted on the competition page.

11.2 We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, acts in a way that is fraudulent or in bad faith, or otherwise breaches these terms.

11.3 The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

11.4 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

11.5 By entering, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions.

12. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
