Museum of Childhood | Edinburgh, Scotland

After a major refurbishment, Edinburgh's Museum of Childhood has now been reopened to the public. Discover how growing up has changed (and stayed the same!) over the years, with plenty of artefacts from the past and present.

It's a favourite with children and adults alike, with games and toys from all over the world. Enjoy retro toys like Buzz Lightyear from the year 2000, and a Fisher-Price Chatter Telephone from 1979.

There is also a dedicated area exploring how children have grown up in Edinburgh over the decades, giving an insight into the local area.

Entrance to the museum is free for all. Opening times are 10 am - 5 pm every day of the week.

This museum is a must-visit for families, so make sure you pop in when you're in Edinburgh. You won't regret it!
