If, like us, you are women ‘d’un certain age’, you probably grew up with the mantra: ‘I must, I must, improve my bust…’. So here’s a woman who knows how – Helen Erichsen, founder of Stellar Décolletage, whose mission is to give us all beautiful bosoms. She’s certainly succeeded, according to our testers after they trialled the Stellar Décolletage Dry Oil Mist and Treatment Polish, which both won Beauty Bible Awards earlier this year.
In just two years, Helen has created a cult beauty range. The line always used to be ‘don't stop skincare at the chin, always include your neck’ but, of course, we really need effective products to sweep way below that. Just think how much exposure that area gets in terms of sun and other ageing pollutants – and how lovely it is to have soft, supple, velvety skin instead of Sahara-dry lines, wrinkles and little bumps - not to mention a firmer, more luscious bosom.
A little warning though. Using Stellar Décolletage Elixir Extraordinaire Dry Oil Mist, which romped home with a Gold Award, might mean a few new tops, according to one tester. ‘The skin looks so much nicer that I’m less self conscious and I‘ve started to wear tops which show my décolletage again,’ she told us delightedly, adding that ‘after four weeks, my bust certainly appears firmer too’. Another reported: ‘after two weeks, skin looked a lot more hydrated, plumped and toned, and felt very soft. After four weeks, little creases completely disappeared’.
The accompanying Luminous Perfector Treatment Polish, a lightly exfoliating gel, also won applause from our testers. One said ‘this is a pretty impressive product. On the side I tested, the texture and look of the skin is greatly improved – much brighter and looks smoother; crêpiness and sun damage are far less obvious.’
The third product in the Stellar Décolletage Complete Collection, a limited edition, is Velvet Restore Sleep Complex, formulated as an overnight treatment to nourish and plump the area. We haven’t (yet) trialled this product but, like the two above, it’s chock-full of skin-cherishing ingredients. (And, to be honest, we’re longing to try it ourselves.)
