We’ve loved this multi-award winning Aussie range since we met the founder Kirsten Carriol when the brand launched in the UK with victoriahealth.com in 2012.
Actually it was a tea party – proper tiny sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and a multitude of little cakes – and we did rather lick our lips over those deliciousnesses (not good for dry lips, BTW). As a child, Kirsten was brought up with lanolin, her ‘mad scientist’ father’s go to product for dry lips and skin. Then the bright lights of Sydney and London brought the allure of cosmetic lip products in shiny packaging – from lipsticks and lacquers to glosses and balms. But on a plane heading off on her honeymoon, Kirsten realised that none of these could get near combatting the drying effects of air con.
