What we liked: Browsing Magic Freebies UK for the first time feels like stumbling upon a treasure trove. You find yourself eagerly scanning the homepage and taking in the wealth of appealing offers before heading for the drop-down category menus to uncover further freebies.
The choice can be a bit overwhelming but, thankfully, Magic Freebies UK has a modern, clean design that's easy to navigate and makes finding the free stuff you want an easy task. The site is regularly updated with at least eight new giveaways listed every day.
The goods are wonderfully varied - we were offered free phone SIMS, Amazon vouchers, Haribo sweets, a vuvuzela and a bottle of Vimto - while sections range from free lotteries, books and magazines to health, food and stuff for kids. Some freebies involve having to enter competitions, while others ask you to fill in a survey but the site always mentions any potential catches so you don't feel duped.
To discover the latest offers, you can follow Magic Freebies UK on Twitter or sign up to its newsletter. The site features a great blog, a set of links to other freebie resources and photos of items that members have grabbed for free. It's also good that you're encouraged to report expired offers to ensure everything is kept up to date.
How it can be improved: It would be useful if the site added a forum where you could share details of other freebies you've found online. A means of rating and commenting on each offer would also be welcome.
Good design and regular updating make Magic Freebies UK an excellent hunting ground for free stuff.
