High-street coffee shop Pret is getting the weekend off to a flying start as it’s giving away its popular vegan Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookies for free!

Fancy getting your hands on Pret’s popular vegan* cookie which combines vegan dark chocolate with almond butter and a little sea salt to make a rich, gooey sweet treat for free?

Head down to your nearest Pret store this Friday and you could get your hands on the popular vegan cookie which combines vegan dark chocolate with almond butter and a little sea salt to make a rich, gooey sweet treat.

The Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie will be handed out by Team Members for free from 3pm to 4pm (or until stocks last), on Friday 16th August, at Pret and Veggie Pret shops nationwide.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Hannah Dolan, Global Head of Food Innovation at Pret, said: “We know our Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie is one of our customers’ favourites – we’ve had hundreds of messages from vegans and non-vegans alike, telling us how much they love it.

“Enjoy it on us this Friday afternoon. It’s delicious when paired with a cup of our organic coffee or English Breakfast Tea!”

To claim their freebie, customers should head to a participating Pret shop and quote the password to a team member behind the counter. The password will be revealed on Pret’s social channels on Thursday (15th August). Follow Pret on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to make sure you don’t miss out! 

*Please note that the cookie is not suitable for nut allergy sufferers. The vegan cookie may also contain traces of dairy due to potential cross-contamination at the bakery where it is produced and in shops but is made to an entirely vegan recipe.
