Greene King is giving away 100,000 free pints today - and all you have to do is say “it rains, we pour” when ordering.

The pub chain said the offer was activated after the first drop of rain fell in Manchester today, triggering its so-called Rain Drop Detector. The nine-foot-tall pint glass shaped detector is located at Great Northern Warehouse in Manchester city centre, but kicked off the launch of the offer across the country.

The deal is live for 24 hours - but you can only claim one free drink. You can find a full list of drinks included in the offer below. The giveaway follows new research revealing Manchester is the UK’s wettest city, with over one in five of the nation claiming it’s the place that rains the most in the entire country.

The deal is available in Greene King managed pubs only. It is not available in Chef & Brewer Collection, Farmhouse Inns, Hungry Horse, Seared or Metropolitan Pub Company sites.
