Since all entrance fees to all national galleries and museums have been scrapped, there are plenty of exciting days out to be had by all across the country. If you can, you should give a donation to help these cheap or free attractions, especially the smaller local history museums if you can.

Gorgie City Farm, Edinburgh

If you happen to find yourself in Edinburgh then give the Gorgie City Farm a visit. Situated on a 1 hectare site is a child-friendly working farm with with fields, stables, sheep-houses and a Pet Lodge full of small animals. A produce stall also sells their own harvest!
