Since all entrance fees to all national galleries and museums have been scrapped, there are plenty of exciting days out to be had by all across the country. If possibly, you should give a donation to help these cheap or free attractions, especially the smaller local history museums if you can.

Great North Museum: Hancock

The National Railway Museum at Shildon

Angel Of The North

The Angel of the north is a contemporary sculpture located in Gateshead, England designed by Antony Gormley. It's worth going to look at this impressive sculpture close up as it stands at 66 feet or 20 metres tall with wings measuring 178 feet or 54 metres across.
