If you can, you should give a donation to help these cheap or free attractions, especially the smaller local history museums if you can.

The British Museum, London

The British Museum holds more than seven million objects from all over the world helping to illustrate and document the story of human culture from its beginning to present day. Sunday to Wednesday the museum is open from 9am to 6pm, every Thursday the museum is open later until 8.30pm.
